Terms of sale

1. Sole proprietor [full name] (the Seller) offers any person (the Customer) to order a personalised illustrated book (the Book) on ertakim.uz under these terms.
2. These terms are accepted when the order is paid. Payment means the Customer agrees to all of them.
3. The Customer fills in the form: heroes, photos, story, style and language. The Book is created automatically by AI systems from the form and the ready-made scenario of the chosen story.
4. The e-book (book page and PDF) is delivered after payment, usually within 15 minutes. The link is shown on the site and can be sent by e-mail or Telegram.
5. The price is shown on the site and the payment page in UZS. Payment is accepted via Payme and Click. Printed books, colouring books, puzzles and other extras are paid separately.
6. The Customer confirms they have the right to use the uploaded photos and that the people pictured (for children, their parents or guardians) agree to the creation of the Book.
7. Illustrations are made by AI and are an artistic interpretation, not an exact likeness. In the editor the Customer can edit the text without limits and redraw up to 5 illustrations for free.
8. An account (e-mail and password) is created with the first order. It keeps the Customer’s books and orders; there the Customer can also create a free copy of the Book or its translation into another language with the same illustrations.
9. The Book is for the Customer’s and their family’s personal, non-commercial use.
10. The Seller is not responsible for delays caused by payment or communication service failures. In case of a technical error the Seller recreates the Book for free.
11. Disputes are settled by negotiation, failing which under the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Privacy

• We collect only what the book needs: heroes’ names and details, photos, and the customer’s phone, name and (optionally) e-mail.
• Photos are used only to illustrate your book. We do not publish them or use them in advertising without your separate consent.
• To create the text and pictures, the form and photos are sent to an AI service (OpenAI) over a secure connection.
• Photos and books are kept in your account for as long as the account exists, so you can redraw illustrations or create a sequel. You can delete the account with all photos and books at any time in the “Account” section. Photos of unpaid orders are deleted after 7 days.
• The website and data are stored on a server in Lithuania (European Union). Lithuania is on the list of countries with adequate personal data protection approved in Uzbekistan.
• Phone, e-mail and Telegram are used to deliver the book and contact you about the order. Marketing messages only with your consent.
• To delete your data, message us on Telegram t.me/ertakim_uz with your order number.

Cookies

• Necessary cookies and browser storage keep the site working: language, form, order. They cannot be switched off.
• Analytics and advertising cookies (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) are enabled only after you click “Accept all”.
• You can withdraw consent by clearing the site data in your browser settings.

Corrections and refunds

• Each book is made from the Customer’s details and is personal in nature, so the right to withdraw from the contract does not apply to it.
• An e-book order cannot be cancelled once creation has started. E-book payments are not refunded. Text and pictures can be corrected in the editor. If the book fails because of a technical error, we create it again free of charge.
• Before ordering a printed book, the Customer checks the e-book: text, names and illustrations. The printed book is made from the approved layout; the order cannot be changed or cancelled once it has gone to the printer.
• Printed books cannot be returned or refunded, except for a manufacturing defect or damage in delivery. Report a defect within 14 days of receiving the book and we will send a free replacement. If a replacement is impossible, we will refund you.
• The following are not defects: AI stylistic choices, illustrations not fully resembling the photos, printed colours differing from the screen, slight trimming of illustration edges in binding, and mistakes the Customer approved in the e-book.
• Printing and delivery times are approximate (usually 7–14 working days) and may vary.
• The Customer edits the book themselves in the website editor; the Seller does not provide a manual editing service.
• Within 2 hours of paying for the printed book, the Customer can make changes or cancel the order in their account and get a full refund. The layout is then fixed and sent to the printer: the order can no longer be changed or cancelled, and later changes to the e-book are not included in the printed book.
